April 2018, Tampa, FL
Coppertail Brewing Co. has partnered with Markets for Makers, a Clearwater-based company who manages community-based events across the country, to offer a night market on Thursday, April 12. The Night Market is a pop-up market where shoppers can stroll among unique, often hand-made offerings made with love by people in the community.
Markets for Makers organizes community marketplace events in cities across the country including Miami, Indianapolis, and Jacksonville. Their mission is to find premier spaces and transform them into a market experience featuring a diverse collection of handmade makers, boutiques, vintage and unique items shoppers can’t find in big box stores. They aim to forge a relationship between small businesses and their future loyal customers.
Jess Lindholm, Coppertail’s Event Coordinator and Tasting Room Manager, said, “The Night Market is a great way for us to help local makers show their stuff. People who like craft beer like goods made by hand and the artistry involved is not unlike the artistry it takes to make great beer.”
Attendees at the upcoming Night Market can peruse unique makers while enjoying food, drinks and photo walls that create memorable experiences. Family-friendly activities, music, and a community celebration are in the works. Owner of Markets for Makers, Natalie Nagengast, said, “This event will be a great opportunity for people to discover handcrafted goods, unique food items, and one-of-a-kind finds. It’s a fun way to enjoy a weeknight while supporting small, local businesses, and a great craft brewery.”
Vendor selection has already begun, but companies may still apply to participate. Anyone interested in getting involved as a vendor can email the Markets for Makers team at firstname.lastname@example.org
